Results
You can use the MijnDiagnostiekvoorU client portal to check the results of laboratory research (blood, urine, stool and STD tests) and pathological examinations. You can also check the results of all other exams via the portal.
You are free to choose whether you want to look at your results before discussing them with your caregiver. Your caregiver will explain what your results mean during your next appointment. Bear in mind that looking at your results yourself may raise questions.
The results of blood, urine, stool and semen tests are generally available within three working days. We will immediately forward your test results to your general practitioner, physician or obstetrician. They should have informed you about when you would receive your test results. When the results of your full examination are known, they will be made available in the MijnDiagnostiekvoorU client portal.
The results of other exams are also available within three working days. Once available, they will be forwarded immediately to your general practitioner, physician or obstetrician. Once that happens, the results of your exam will also be available in the client portal.
The results of pathological examinations, e.g. tissue examinations or a cervical smear test, are generally available within six working days.
To optimally protect your medical information (in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation), Diagnostiek voor U will never share test or exam results over the phone. Most results can be found in our client portal, which you can log in to with your DigiD. For technical reasons, some results cannot be shown in the client portal at the moment. You can always ask the person who ordered your test or exam, e.g. your general practitioner, about your results.
Hepatitis B vaccination
Diagnostiek voor U only vaccinates for institutions with whom we have a contract agreement. If your educational institution or employer has given you a form from Diagnostiek voor U, that means we can vaccinate you. Some vaccinations can be performed on location. Ask your educational institution or employer about this.
You must have a form to receive your first vaccination. If you do not have this form, you cannot get vaccinated. You can get a new form from your employer or educational institution.
Every vaccination contributes to your overall degree of protection. Did you receive your vaccination less than one year ago? If so, you can receive the remaining injections in accordance with the schedule (0-5 months). You can write this information on the form yourself. You must then have a titer test performed. Did you receive your vaccination more than one year ago? If so, you must go through the entire hepatitis B vaccination programme (three vaccination at 0-1-6 months and a titer test).
Blood tests
Yes, blood sampling can also take place in your own home, provided that your general practitioner, physician or specialist has submitted a special order for this. You cannot submit this order yourself. It must come from your general practitioner or physician.
Wij komen bij u thuis bloedprikken tussen 07.30 en 15.00 uur. Als we na 13.00 uur komen, nemen wij de dag ervoor telefonisch contact met u op. Wilt u ervoor zorgen dat u dan bereikbaar bent?
You and your young child (aged 0-7) can have blood tests taken at our main branches - Boschdijk and Stratumsedijk. Many employees at these branches have ample experience with performing blood tests on young children. When making an appointment for your child in the Blood Test appointment portal, choose the 'blood test child (aged 0-7)' option. Your child's appointment will be scheduled at the appropriate location and time. You will be given a longer appointment to ensure that our employees have time to explain what will happen during the test.

Fees and invoices
All information on fees can be found on the fees page and on the dedicated page of the examination in question.
People with a chronic disease (e.g. diabetes, pre-diabetes, cardiovascular risk, asthma/COPD) have to undergo regular testing at the request of their GP or nurse practitioner. Invitations are sent out for these tests. We charge an administration fee for these letters, which we call the registration fee. The costs will be invoiced after the test.
We charge a so-called order fee for drawing blood at one of our branches. The home test fee is a surcharge on this order fee for drawing blood at your home to cover our administrative and logistics costs.
